Accept payments virtually, anywhere

Any Authorize.net merchant can use this service. Once you install VPOS onto your PC,1 you'll just need a supported card reader and downloaded software to process credit card payments.

How to get started

Simply connect a card reader to your computer and use your browser to connect. For receipts, use your existing desktop printer or a retail receipt printer.

Make your computer a virtual POS

Authorize a credit card transaction in as little as three seconds by using a fully encrypted card reader and a computer.

Add a card reader

Pair your Windows device with our VPOS app and reader to turn your device into a fast and secure virtual point of sale.

Streamline the process

Choose a pre-integrated solution, such as a retail payment terminal or kiosk, from our partners, using Authorize.net for payments.

Use a compatible card reader

Purchase ID Tech card readers from POS Portal to process payments.

Accept chip card payments

Use an EMV® chip-enabled card reader. Note: EMV chip support is currently limited to the First Data Nashville and TSYS processing platforms. For a list of additional processors and expected support dates, please see our EMV Chip FAQs.

Simplify risk management

Sensitive data is stored in the Authorize.net PCI-compliant data center, never on your computer.

Email or print receipts

Send your customers an email transaction receipt. Easily manage receipt signature settings. We also support Star AllReceipts™ digital receipt solution.

Ensure secure access

Use your account credentials to access the app and authorize and de-authorize devices within the Authorize.net Merchant Interface.

Compatible with the latest printers

VPOS is compatible with any standard 8.5" x 11" laser or ink jet printer. If you prefer a thermal receipt printer, we recommend Star or Epson connected via USB or Bluetooth. To find out which receipt printers work with VPOS, visit our support website.

Jotform makes it really easy to create online forms, and Authorize.net makes it really easy to collect payments, so it's a natural partnership.
